Recently, the bureau teamed up with the Ruian City Fire Brigade in the three fire-fighting product operations departments and seized hundreds of fire-fighting products that did not have national mandatory certification marks (ie, 3C certification), safety ropes, and evacuation instructions fire-fighting ground stickers.
The law enforcement officers of the Bureau introduced that on February 7 this year, the Dongshan Institute and the fire brigade jointly carried out law enforcement actions. At the scene, the three firefighting product operation departments in the area seized the safety ropes that were not marked with national mandatory certification marks on the outside of the area (firefighters). There were a total of 156 pieces of personal protective equipment, and there were a total of 450 pieces of evacuation instructions that were not marked on the national mandatory certification label for fire protection.
It is reported that safety ropes, evacuation instructions fire-fighting stickers and other fire-fighting products were listed in the compulsory product certification fire-fighting products list on January 28, 2014 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the Ministry of Public Security, and the National Certification and Accreditation Regulatory Commission. In the case of China, where no mandatory product certification certificate is issued and no mandatory product certification mark is marked, it shall not be manufactured, sold, imported, or used in other business activities.
The Firefighters of the Fire Brigade of Ruian City explained that fire products belong to an emergency response product. In daily production and life protection, the fire products directly determine the effect of fire extinguishing and rescue. The quality of fire extinguishing products is related to the effect of fire extinguishing and the people’s Life and property security. Among them, the safety rope is a firefighter's personal protective equipment, and the state requires safety ropes to be equipped with steel wires to ensure the toughness of the ropes; and the evacuation instructions for the fire patches need to be made of fireproof materials to ensure the fire resistance of the stickers. The seizure of the safety rope, which is not equipped with steel wire, is far from the tenacity of the safety rope quality standard; the evacuation instruction fire wall sticker is made of plastic foam, but it will encourage fire in the fire scene.
